Smile Hello everyone...

After some layoff, I have returned to the AikiWeb.

I have suffered a couple of shoulder injuries as a competitive bodybuilder (albeit now in the 'seniors' class at 53) so have been unable to get much practice in.

I have moved to North London and am searching for a new Dojo with a view to return to regular practice once my shoulder has healed.

My focus is turning now away from heavy duty lifting for my bodybuilding to spending much more time on my Aikido.

My journey began a long while ago under Minoru Kanetsuka Sensei, and then for some years under John Jenkin Sensei (Koshinkan Aikido Society). The variety of techniques from the two different styles certainly provided a broader set of options to choose from in practice.

If anyone has a recommendation for a good Dojo in North or Central London, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Good fortune to you all.

Regards
Laurence

Re: Hello everyone...

Kanetsuka Sensei still trains around north London. His practices are around the Brent Cross/Colindale/Burnt Oak area.
