Ki Symbol Hello

Hello, to everyone my name is Memmek10k, and I am a Christian and have practiced Aikibudo for two days, so far and I love it. I come from a Kung fu background. Wing Chun (completed the system under Sifu Jason Gouty) and Tai Chi/ Bagua Under (Sifu Modesto Castillio and Fred Weaver and James Gordan.)

I'm also Japanese.

If I have questions may I ask them.

Re: Hello

It is. A lot of my classmates kind of get annoyed how I point out how the tai chi, bagua stuff are so similar.

shhhhhhhhh...... let it be our secret here on aikiweb ...seriously, if you are a newbie in an art, if you keep pointing it out, it implies you are not there "with an empty cup" to learn something new...
I totally understand that your brain is working, unbidden, on making connections between all the things that are indeed similar in terms of principles. My brain is very similar that way.
But many people are more focused on the external steps and techniques than principles so will not appreciate where you are coming from.
And others may doubt your sincerity as a learner and think you are putting down aikido "oh I know that already...."
Meanwhile ENJOY your training and welcome to aikiweb too....many of us crosstrain a little or a lot!
