First time post

Mark G. on board as a new member.
My experience is in boxing, kick boxing, fukemjuboka and isshinryu. I'm looking to make a 180 and get involved in aikido. I would prefer a "hard" style. Looking for a school in the Reading/Allentown PA area. I have done a lot of research, however there is nothing better than word-of-mouth referrals. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome...

This place might be a little too far but...

Mike Hutchinson is a great guy and knows his stuff.

All paths lead to death. I strongly recommend taking one of the scenic routes.

Re: First time post

Welcome to AikiWeb.

Here are two articles which may help you in searching for a dojo for yourself:

"Selecting a Dojo" - my "boilerplate" response when asked for dojo recommendations. "Evaluating a Dojo" by Bill Witt sensei - Some tips for evaluating a dojo for newcomers.

Hope that helps,

-- Jun
