Sunday Oct 23rd, 2011 - Kaeshiwaza Workshop

Sunday Oct 23rd
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Aikido Eastside in Bellevue, WA

George Ledyard will conduct the second in a series focusing on kaeshiwaza (reversals). A set of potential reversals will be presented for each of the most common Aikido kihon waza. Kaeshiwaza is the application of the principles of aiki and connection by the uke in Aikido training. Kaeshiwaza is at the heart of ability to apply Aikido technique in the martial context. It is also one of the best methods for teaching a proper understanding of ukemi as continuous connection rather than resistance.

This seminar is open to any student of Aikido, 3rd kyu or above regardless of style or affiliation.

Cost: $40 for non-dojo members
