Dan Harden in San Francisco Nov 12-13th, 2011

We have a small group interested in doing a seminar. If anyone is interested please write me at dojoseminars@gmail.com or even here is fine.
I will need to know over the next couple of weeks.
Cost will be $175.00
And I will be doing a Frid. night 6-9
Sat 9-6 with some sort of lunch
Sund 9-1 lunch
Sunday afternoon and night will be private training with prior students only.
Maybe a Mon. open class as well.

We will be doing internal training and some applications of aiki in jujutsu drills.

I don't know which of us will be more excited to meet the other. You know I have been a fan of yours for years. So I will be first up with hugs and pokes and laughter.
We have to see how many want to come though. There are two small groups who asked me to come out, so let's see how it plays out, kiddo. Good grief, Dinner is on me no matter what!!

I have a wedding to go to that weekend and I'm already trying to find a way to skip it.

I missed the LA workshop, and I'd really like to get a chance to finally understand what Dan is doing.

Hi Bud, We can still redo a Baltimore seminar. The listing here got killed due to a certain indibivual. Want to try? Do we have a venue? I can re-list it and save the requirements for private correspondance, and go from there. If I am going to do it, I am going to have fun doing it without the drama or I'm not coming.

Hey dan,

Let's match up calendars. I'm thinking we're in December at the earliest. I have two venues which are a "go" save for a few infrequent events which happen in the evenings anyway.

Still interested in SF though!

So
We have about 22 people who can make this last minute shindig. We still need a venue if we are going to pull it off. I need to firm it up in a day or to or we can't do it till at least Jan.
Any one have any ideas on a place we can use?

Well our ADV dojo in concord is a possibility. Same place were we held the California Aiki Web Labor Day weekend. I need to confirm with Rick Sensie to make sure he would be ok with this. Will not see him until Sat morning. Also, since on the 12th we have a regular class scheduled, will need to figure out what Rick wants to do with that. But anyway assuming I can clear all this, would Concord be too far away for those wanting to attend?

Concord is about 30 miles east/northeast of downtown San Francisco, about 45 minutes by car or BART. Access from airport, south bay not bad.
I'm coming from Up North so it's all of a piece to me....

BTW if anybody is heading to Bay Area from points north, I am driving down from Ukiah - all the way down 101 if to SF; cutting over via 37 through Vallejo if to Concord, if anybody needs a ride in on the Friday.
