Lightbulb Greetings from South Carolina!

Hi everyone!

My name's Zoe. I'm a student at USC Columbia and I frequently joke that I am triple majoring in biomedical engineering, philosophy and aikido. Before this year, I had no clue what Aikido was. Now, I spend 12 hours a week in a dojo.I think it's fair to say I'm addicted. I recently just did my first seminar (our dojo hosted) as well as my first belt test for gokyu; its insane to think that 6 months ago what would have happened if I have taken even one of those break falls! Beyond the physical changes, I actually feel centered for the first time in my life.

I can't wait to meet you guys!

Zoe - Can you tell me where your dojo is? I have tried to find a dojo for my son at USC.

Re: Greetings from South Carolina!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Larry, there are 2 aikido dojos (I know of) for students at USC Columbia. One meets at Strom-Thurmond and the other is at Stronghold. They are headed by the same man, so I guess you could call them really 1 dojo separated by distance.

If you need anymore info, feel free to ask here or send me a note.
