Anybody going to Aikido Celebration 2011?

I was just curious to see who is going to the Aikido Celebration 2011 in Oahu. I am excited as this is to be one of the largest (if not the largest!) Aikido seminars in Hawaii. I though this would a great way to meet some people before the event.

Heres the link if anyone has not seen it

Re: Anybody going to Aikido Celebration 2011?

The Founder of Aikido made a special trip to Hawaii in 1961, first to personally dedicate the opening of the Waiale Dojo, to express his gratitude to the Hawaii faithful for their support of his ideals, and to introduce his "Silver Bridge" to the rest of the world.

Both the Doshu and Waka Sensei, grandson and great grandson of the Founder, will honor this occasion with a seminar and demonstration. It truly is a "one of a kind" event.

Yup. I plan to be there.

Well, I'll be there, of course. Right now there are twenty (20!) 7th dans scheduled to attend. Should be a blast.

Best,

Chris
