The foot in mouth parts of the kata are the best. At least he's recognizing his shortcomings.

Hi Graham,
Nice lyric. Should you invite the bear to teach your class maybe you could all sing the following ?
Ooby doo, I wanna walk like you , talk like you etc etc.
Who knows maybe the bear could conduct a national course?That might be worth bear-ing in mind!!
Joe.

Re: Aikijo

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of life,
With my sword and my jo and my spear and my knife;
Weaponsof martial law or just a partial look?
The whole of Budo or one chapter in the book?

Surrounded by enemies, I take out my spear,
Thrust through with wisdom and a path becomes clear;
Then attacked from behind, they think my point of blindness,
But I take out my sword and cut them down with kindness.

So then the final assault, both flanks and from above,
Out comes the Jo as I turn they are defeated with love;
Now it's all peaceful again, I put the weapons away,
As my knife peels the apple on this glorious day.

Bless. G.
