New to the forums and new to the art

I've just started kokikai aikido. Our dojo is in Flemington, NJ under the tutelage of Rick Goodman Sensei. Glad to be here. I'm an empty cup when it comes to this, but looking forward to filling it.

Tony

Welcome to the board and aikido. Enjoy the journey but don't ever let your cup get full.

Rick is great! Good luck and I look forward to seeing you at camps when I return to the States.

Welcome to Aikido and Aikiweb. I second what Cherie said, never fill your cup. I keep an empty bowl in front of my Buddha shrine to remind me of this. Keep your cup empty and you will always be ready to receive.

Let silence be my mantra.
