Pat Narey Sensei

It is my sad duty to inform the Aikido community that Ms. Pat Narey 5th Dan departed this life in the early hours of 17th March 2010 after a short illness.

Pat began her Aikido journey in 1978 and was well-loved by her Aikido peers and students.

She was an instructor at Ren Shin Kan dojo for many years and a well-travelled student and instructor.

She will be sorely missed by us all.

Goodbye Pat with love

Philip

Re: Pat Narey Sensei

Very sad news,

I spent some of the very best times of my life with Pat's children, Justin, Rachel and Katrina and my thoughts are very much with them today.

Kind regards

Daren

Re: Pat Narey Sensei

Phil,

I'd like to offer condolences from everyone here in our dojo. This is really sad news, I was hoping to see her again in Lowestoft this year. I always used to look forward to her classes when she used to share the teaching with Mr Smith; it was always a pleasure to train with her on the mat and talk with her off it. She'll be missed.

Best Regards,
John

Re: Pat Narey Sensei

Even though I haven't seen Pat for fifteen years or more, this is shocking news. Condolences to her family and friends.
