Hard style Aikido in Glasgow

Hi there,
I'll be moving to Glasgow, Scotland soon and I am really keen on carry on my Aikido training there as well. I practice Yoshinkan style and – so far so good - I really like it . So ideally I'm looking for Yoshinkan Dojo– on the other hand ....
One of the things i really enjoy about Yoshinkan is the physical aspect of it ( i mean that you at every class you work your a** off and sometimes it really hurts ) , – so - any style or dojo will do , as long as it requires hard work and is physically as well as mentally demanding - ( so far Yoshinkan been the best - btw ) .Does anyone have idea on this type of Aikido dojos in Glasgow?

Appreciate your help

Marek

Hi Marek,
Try the Thistle Aikikai Dojo, Chryston nr Glasgow. Its not a Yoshinkan Dojo but you can work hard or as soft as you want. The Chief Instructor is Mike Flynn 6th dan Shihan. The Dojo is listed on British Birankai web page.
