Weekend with Ikeda Sensei at Shindai Dojo

Aikidoka,

The arrangements for Ikeda Sensei's visit this coming weekend have begun at Shindai in earnest. There are a few things I wanted to make everyone aware of before your arrival.

When you arrive at the Boys & Girls Club at 5055 West Raleigh
Street/Orlando, Florida 32811... Please park so that no one is blocked in. If overflow parking is required you will find space in the lot just west of the facility. Please lock your valuables in your trunk or bring them with
you.

We will have a gathering and BBQ at the Shindai Dojo on Saturday evening at about 6:30. If you are interested in attending there will be a $10.00 per person charge at registration. Ribs, chicken, Brats along with sides and the fixings are on the menu. We ask everyone to BYOB, and if you want to bring something special to share you are welcome to do so. The party will last until the conversation runs out.

We will be making and taking contributions to the Aiki Atlas
Foundation. A percentage of all Shindai events are donated to the future of Aikido through the AAF.

Sensei will be bringing along his portable version of Bujin Design.
If you have personal needs or a friend in need of a special gift for the
holidays.... You will have your chance.

The seminar will begin and end as a memorial to our friend and
training partner Robbie Bishop.

We look forward to seeing you in a few days. Please travel safely.
