Re: Oh $#!t moments...

The seminar I got thrown directly into the nice vase of flowers that had been placed at the kamiza of a teeny and very protocol-conscious dojo. I saw where I was headed while in mid air and due to time and space constriants, was powerless to go anywhere else...

Re: Oh $#!t moments...

I remember some years back.... teaching bokken v bokken kata from what we call Koryu Dai San.... I was teaching a class of brown belts and above and I asked my uke to make a commited yokomen uchi to my left temple which he did and caught me a beauty which I didn't quite avoid in time.... you could here the 'bonk'
noise across the dojo, followed by gasps, followed by a real beaut of an egg which rapidly appeared on my bald pate.....
My uke apologised profusely.... trying not to laugh!!
As I was recovering I covered up by saying "Now where were we?"
needless to say this had the whole class in stitches......

Some you win..... Some you lose..... kesera
