is it possible to

make a monthly day where some special guest member, known in aikido world (lives) to answer and write about or aikido questions? or we can create a faq and send it to the sensei and wi'll get his replies?

this could be a very cool idea, since not all semseis' can come to our country.

any idea?

Re: is it possible to

IMHO, there are lots of FAQ on the net, tons of literature and videos, and a couple great forums to ask away on. What more do you want?

Re: is it possible to

Some years ago on E-budo, Toshishiro Obata (of Shinkendo fame) interacted with the forumites concerning Shinkendo and whatever else they wanted to discuss with him. Be it that many of his generation and the prior generations are not "internet savvy," the e-conversations were mediated by a senior student who relayed the questions to him for comment.

Perhaps this is what the OP meant. It would be nice to post sincere "cyber-questions" to the likes of Saotome Shihan or Yamada Shihan...even if they are mediated by senior students who merely relay the questions to him for response...if any. Obviously, the sempai in question serves as both editor & censor.

Some of us are not ASU or USAF nor can we make it to a seminar to ask a serious, legitimate and honest question concerning Aikido.

FWIW...

The USAF online newsletter has a place where you can send questions for Yamada Shihan.
