Did you ask your instructor or any of the other club members where they got their uniforms? That's usually the place to start.

Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

Asianworldmartialarts.com has lowepriced gi's.
Bujindesign has the upper end of the price range...others are higher I know like some of the competitive Judo ones like Mizuno.
Their are several brands ...look on google to check out your options.
I have bought several from http://www.e-bogu.com/Judo_s/49.htm

Good luck
Lan

Play nice, practice hard, but remember, this is a MARTIAL art!

Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

I have gotten mine from the web... karatedepot.com

Its an okay site I guess. I don't know about international shipping, tho. You may just try a search for "judo uniform single weave" and see what pops up...

Red face Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

OOOOHHHHH!!

I didn't understand that!!!! Now that makes more sense.

Sorry I don't have any uniforms that are in good enough shape to wear, they're mostly just good enogh to use as patches when the new one eventually needs it!

Good luck though

E

Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

I'm not sure what price range you're looking for, but Kinjisan has a Ronin brand judo gi for $35 US (which is about 44 Turkish Lira?), and a middleweight karate gi for $25. My son practices in a Ronin gi and I've been very pleased with the quality. Some of the newer students in our aikido dojo practice in lightweight/middleweight karate gi, especially in summer. They don't last as long, but they do fine.

You might also look on eBay if you haven't already.

Good luck!

Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

It will cost anybody here $$$ to send it to you.
At every dojo I've trained at, there are slightly used "loaner gi" available for use by those visiting or unable to buy a gi.
Have you not asked your instructor for help?

Re: Dogi/Uniform Information Needed

Your instructor should be able to help you find a keiko gi, if not, he or she should figure that out. It is the instructor's primary responsibility to help people who want to practice. 'nuff said. In gassho,

Mark
