Why?

It's like Nu-metal never died on here. Eurgh.

I've never heard of them, but when I want to listen to something soft I sometimes listen to The Corrs, also an Irish band.

I tend to like their more traditional instrumental stuff than the pop love songs.

Nick, I used to photograph concerts. When you look out from behind the band at the crowd, you see that there are plenty of people that like that band...

...no matter who they are.

People have different tastes. Sometimes very different.

If not, Morrissey might have starved to death.

Re: Music?

I'm a classical musician by training (bassoon, clarinet and sax are primary instruments), so needless to say I don't listen to any classical music. I find it hard to listen to someone else playing - I criticize way too much.

Thus, my music collection consists of about 600 odd albums of techno covering pretty much the entire spectrum from old-skool (Jarre et al) to hard house (what I used to dance to for pocket money for a while), ambient, and hardcore. Hip-hop doesn't grab me much except for the occasional tune. Occasionally I'll break out an album of 80s or 90's Australian rock - Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil, Crowded House, REM etc. But, mostly it's electronic.

Re: Music?

Trent Reznor is teh good. True, while Morrissey may not be to everyones tastes, he doesnt have to prove anything (he was in the smiths ya know).

Nope, haven't caught that one, but then I haven't watched a stitch of music videos for a couple of years at least.

I'm not into sad stuff anyway.
