Hello Liam,

...I agree with you when it comes to 'awareness', but it even goes futher than seeing attackers coming at you ...if you really are 'aware', you will be able to completely avoid being in a situation where you will have attackers coming at you at all!

...I know that anyone can end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, but going into a biker bar at 1am dressed in a gi is a TOTAL lack of awareness ( ...LOL....and common sense!) ...that's an extreme for sure, but there are other places & situations people put themselves into that show just as much lack of awareness! ....going to the ATM at 2am ...getting drunk & loud at just about any bar ...staring at the ground when approached by a stranger ...things like that!

...just food for thought!
