Why do you hang a shingle and teach?
Is it for fame and fortune?
Is it because you have something to offer?
Is it because you want a place to train?
Why???
At the time I started the Shudokan School of Aikido, circumstances were forcing me to leave the dojo I was in but I really was enjoying learning from our Shihan, Hiroshi Kato so I opened my own dojo so I could keep studying under him. I consider myself qualified only to get beginners started and after that, they are free to find a more experienced and qualified instructor locally.
Best wishes,
Jorge
