P.S. ignore GPs - there are only three standard responses that those monkeys give:
1. take this drug (usually a pain killer or antibiotic)
2. rest for 6-8 weeks
3. (if you are lucky) refer you to a specialist
In the UK I see GPs as a very expensive referral service
