So, it is not so much that WHAT is studied in aikido is not effective...it is more about the HOW it is studied. 1st order change is about the content, what.
2nd order change is about the process, how.
3rd order change is about the identity, who.
IMHO, Aikido is only a tool and an opportunity to develop what you intend it to develop.
