Oh I love this column, Stefan. I remember visiting another dojo when I was a white belt. They didn't do anything like we did it! How could what they were doing be aikido? Years later I visited again and I couldn't see what was so different. In fact, the students there helped me prepare for my nidan test, and I was grateful for their help.
