I understand that self doubt creeps in no matter what. However your teacher is the best judge of what you should look like for 3rd kyu.
He sees you all the time, understands where you've started from, and been there himself. He also knows his own teaching style and ideals better then anyone, and thus understands where you are at better then anyone else.
If your teacher says you're ready for a rank, you have the tools, you just need to perform on the test.
