I knew psych nurses when I first started to train in the 90s who found aikido very handy in dealing with dangerous situations where you don't want to cause harm.

Joe Thambu Shihan runs restraint and removal courses, I seem to remember he may have owned a security company in Melbourne (could be wrong).
