The Bond Street Dojo, founded in 1973 by Terry Dobson and Ken Nisson, will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in just a few weeks with a special seminar.
The seminar officially runs from Thursday May 30 to Sunday June 2 (the weekend after Memorial Day). Mitsugi Saotome shihan (8th dan) and Hiroshi Ikeda shihan (7th dan) are headlining, and co-founder Ken Nisson sensei (6th dan) and chief instructor Chris Jordan sensei (6th dan) will also be teaching.
The seminar will be taking place at the
3LD (3-Legged Dog) Art & Technology Center in Tribeca (downtown Manhattan) where we expect to have a large mat space. There will be a party Saturday night, and we are planning some special in-dojo classes and events during the week or so leading up to the seminar. All affiliations and ranks are welcome to the seminar and these events.
