Aikido-L may be popular but I'm out of the loop here. Will you tell me what it is? The first thing I thought was Aikido-Ladies, but I don't know if that's it, because women and men usually train together just fine. Anyway, I enjoyed your essay, but I am wondering what Aikido-L is. Also, I've been painting acrylics for the past few months, but now I'm taking an oil class. Sometimes I'll do a long brush stroke really quickly, and it surprisingly turns out just right. That's when I think maybe I have a talent for painting. Then again, I think it's more like the old saying, "Better lucky than good."
