Just a thought... but I wonder if those dojos tend to have differences in the most common way they throw the iriminage or other technique that requires this ukemi? A difference in the throw might quite naturally lead to a difference in the ukemi, at least as far as I've seen.
I don't know if that's the case here, just thinking.
