I recommend a Google search for Molly Hale Sensei. She is "on wheels", and a featured instructor at this year's Aiki Expo in Los Angeles. Her story is all the inspiration that any disabled person needs to train in Aikido.
I did the workshop with her at the Aiki Expo 05. We did all the techniques out of a chair to get the feel of being in a wheelchair. Her ability to capture your center and throw you was brilliant, her eyes and smile charming, and her courage inspirational. Really impacted me and the way I look at Aikido and "disabilities".

There was another Sensei at the Las Vegas Expo 03 (sorry, I am bad with names) who demonstrated with one arm, a great smile, and brillant technique.

We do not rise to the level of our expectations, but fall to the level of our training. Train well. KWATZ!
