In that case, perhaps the title should be, IHTBE ("It has to be eaten"), and, since this column is all about
kotodama, if someone (it would probably have to be Doshu) actually utters the words on the scroll, good, or bad, things will happen, depending on his ability to pronounce the words 'correctly' (which is the way Morihei intended them to be pronounced).
