If I understand Takahashi S.'s article, he's saying that just letting each student figure it out for themselves hasn't worked. So we need a way to train it explicitly. So your first question might be rephrased: Is there an ideal way to train these skills
for Aikido? Should that be to any degree standardized? And what is that ideal way?
