Actually, I would laugh at that, too. And I think Tohei would laugh at it.... you never see him doing those kinds of hokey demonstrations. However, that's not the kind of "ki" I'm thinking about (i.e., not the "emitted qi", because while there seems to be some sort of feeling attached, it functionally doesn't appear to do much)... and I don't think it's the kind of ki that Tohei was referring to IF the alleged statement was ever made.
