Stanley Pranin opened the floodgates with the first Aiki Expo. Those of us who are actively going out there meeting, teaching, learning, experiencing the larger world of martial arts will continue to benefit in a myriad of ways. I find it very unfortunate that too many people (for my comfort level) are choosing to remain like ostriches with their heads stuck in the ground trying to tell others that they have a great panoramic view from a lofty perspective.
