I have to say that I am sometimes shocked by the language and aggression shown by aikidoka towards each other. I thought the reason for the post was to get the opinions of others but it seem when an answer comes which people don`t like, they slate it. (Iīve said this before but it really does shock me and puts me off posting.)
I always thought that fast isnīt necessarily better and whilst studying "invisible movement" I learned to move very slowly at first - which is actually quicker, if the person does not notice you moving.
Maybe these so called sluggards know more that you think...
Another point to consider...Aikido is not a sport and when we jump around we are not always practicing martial arts. Especially if the movement is synchronised.
