Alan Wade Sensei has opened the invitation to everyone to join him in celebrating 40 years of training in Aikido on February 2nd and 3rd, 2008. Alan Sensei began with Chiba Sensei in the UK before immigrating to New Zealand some 30+ years ago and supporting the Aikido Shinryukan organisation lead by Shihan Nobuo Takase. The Gisborne Dojo has organised free accommodation (e.g. dormitory style or billets) including breakfast and evening BBQ. Alan Sensei also promises Gisbourne's usual sunny warm weather, and an enjoyable time for all!
