I am not going to argue with a Japanese speaker, but "Henka" does mean change or variation, does it not?

I am not saying that changing technique to another is not Henka Waza, but that it is not a definition of "Henka Waza" as far as I have come across. IE: One aspect, not all of it! Henka Waza is a variation from Kihon Waza!
