I've often said that I find it amazing that a culture that learned to produce one of the finest sword designs in the world couldn't figure out buttons

Every damn piece of clothing is tied on

I also believe that the reason samurai always had a blade of some sort with them was to cut themselves out of their hakama in case they had a touch of diarrhea
