I do some exercise at home with some barbells
and a curlbar,I have done Bodybuilding prior to Aikido,so I have a variety of exercises.
I'm very aware of how I stress the muscles
in order not to become tense and insensitive.
Keeping my back strong is kind of necessary
having a back problem and after advancing to
2.kyu I want to be able to take kind ukemi
that will be coming my way.
Aikido requires a special sensitivity that
heavy weightlifting will be counterproductive to ,so it's a delicate matter.
