as a member of the us military SOCOM I can tell you straight up that the army is Moving to gracie Jujutsu as a whole. This move was started in the 75th Ranger regiment, and now is slowly being instilled in the regular army. Although I love Aikido, Jujutsu makes more sense, it is a simpler system to teach to large groups of soldiers, and doesn't require all the skills that would be needed to teach and understand Aikido, the army is not interested in making us better people, but better fighters. I personnally think that it is a waste but, I am not a policy maker.
