White for kyu ranks
Black and hakama for dan ranks
White until first test
Blue for 5th and 6th kyu
Purple for 3rd and 4th kyu
Brown and hakama for 2nd and 1st kyu
Black and hakama for dan ranks
White until first test
White and hakama to 4th kyu
Brown and hakama to 1st kyu
