Hello and sorry if this has already been answered but I believe some words are missing at the end of the first paragraph. Since English is not my mother tongue I can't get myself to extrapolate the full meaning from this sentence:

I can't quite believe that the sentence stopped at the word "Japan". Can someone please enlighten me?
