Hi Dominic, I have found him via Facebook previously, to thank him for his blog entry, which made it relatively easy to get there. It probably would have been easiest to show the pictures to a local taxi driver and ask him to go there. But then hindsight is 20/20 and he mentioned in one of his posts that he was low on money at the time.

in the meanwhile, I have updated OpenStreetMap.org with the English name for the cemetery (Shin Tokorozawa Memorial Park) so future visits should hopefully be even easier. The grave has the number 3-4-18.
