All seems a bit overanalyzed to me. Uke...nage. One attacks and one takes and handles the attack.


All can be learned's harder than in motion if done properly. So it starts with how to hold.

To hold properly eg: hold the wrist, then you should be able to say to the nage they are free to try anything and at the same time be able to be nage yourself as they start.

Therefor if not 100% correct then the nage will find themself being uke.

This is not the same as 'stopping nage'. It's active. It's aikido.
