ah... "sei" as in "tadashii"...
Doesn't it refer to one's own eyes? As one's eyes must be focused.
Does it have to do with "ken"(everyday, physical seeing) and "kan"(seeing beyond the physical)?
So many questions... guess I'm not helping that much...
