Takeda Sensei is a student of the late Yamaguchi Sensei.
In an attempt to place this clip in context, this is five minutes of one keiko. In this case, the shoto is being used to explore and experiment with connection, extension, intention.

(Clearly it is not, nor is it meant to be some kind of blade fighting or defense. It may look weird to watch, but is interesting and fun to feel and practice.)
