Forgive me for taking the discussion back to my point.... cutting a mat with a blade, not even a specialized Japanese sword, is not so hard, IMO, after watching that video. That was my point. Nothing about armor or anything else. Cutting a mat without even a sword is not as hard as many of us had been previously led to believe. Period. That's all I was saying.
