On January 9th 2011, during Kagami Biraki ceremony, Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba personally delivered the 7th Dan Aikikai So Honbu to Corallini Shihan, as a recognition of the previous 7th Dan Iwama Ryu already given by Morihiro Saito Shihan on May 2001.
This is the very first time this recognition, given to few western teachers, is delivered to an Italian master, and it is the umpteenth proof of the work Corallini Shihan has been carrying on for more than 40 years in spreading Traditional Aikido in Italy and worldwide.
Corallini is Iwama Ryu Dai Senpai, and the sole Italian Aikikai 7th Dan.
