May I ask, however, that any such discussion of Tohei-sensei, of ki (unless it of Kuroiwa sensei's opinions in his own writings) go to another thread. The last thing I want to happen is that, even here, Tohei sensei blocks Kuroiwa sensei's light.

The only thing I was thinking when reading that was it was a real loss for both men and perhaps for us as well. I assume Kuroiwa being in his twenties and fit and Tohei being in his mid 30's, there could have been something interesting out of that, not sure what, but both were talented in their own right and so some clashing of perspectives would have been interesting. Would it have shifted either's trajectory, we will never know.
