My post was directed towards how the body was held and of the distinct differences between the people listed. I certainly don't have near the experience to compete with Fred or Dan in the area of sword work.
Understood. My "Sword Work" only goes back 20 years and is mostly in Iaido and our Aikido.
That being said, I do currently practice with weapons. Just not sword. But I am finding that the weapons work I'm practicing is definitely a notch or two above aikido weapons work.
IMO, of course.
What is "Aikido weapons work?" Since there are several of these from Hombu, Iwama, Korindo, Nishio and others.... Which style are you referring to?
As for the rest What Fred said and what I said in my first reply to Dan about "Budo". When I think of one of the Top 5 Aikido Sensei's in the Southern California Area Matsuoka Sensei always comes to mind. His love for Aikido is in everything he does and is infectious.
Still waiting to hear from Dan but I know he is busy.
