Very sad, I spoke with his family yesterday and it is a very serious situation.

Ken has been a friend for perhaps 30 years and is one of the unsung Aikido giants.

Away from the mat a true gentleman and friend with a wonderful sense of humour, a joy and love for life and one of the kindest men you would wish to meet.

If you never met him you really missed something special.

My thoughts and love are with his family.
