. The camera angles aren't the best, but the hands seem relaxed & "straight".
But don't worry about raising the arms. Just relax the shoulder, let the elbows hang at your sides, and hold the forearm parallel with the ground. (And if you want, you can point the forearms straight ahead, but for purposes here, that's probably not important.)
