Apart from that, a dozen years ago such style vs style nonsense was common, frankly I'm amazed to see it still going so far into the MMA era. People mixed styles long before MMA, but you have to be living under a rock to still think one style is the uber style. BJJ is very good at what it does, but it's only a piece of the puzzle, albeit a pretty reliable one.
